Objectives of project

•     Our main objective is to remove plastic bottles from road and dustbins.

•     Increase the recycling of the waste plastic water bottles.

•     Reduce the weight to volume ratio of garbage of waste plastic water bottles.

•     Encourage the people to not to through the waste plastic water bottles on road or in garbage.

•     Prepare a machine which can sense the material of the bottle and ensure it is made of plastic, crush the plastic water bottle and convert it in scrape, finally issue 1 rupee coin to the user of this machine.

 Brief about methodology

One need to insert the waste plastic water bottle in the gap names on front of reverse vending machine "Insert bottle here". Before adopting the bottle, metal detector sensors will check the material of bottle and ensure the bottle is made of a plastic material. Inserted bottle having the material other than plastic will not be processed further.  Plastic bottles only will be further processed and reached to the shredder compartment. Shredder is made of square teethed two meshing gears which is operated by 1 HP electric motor. Plastic bottle is crushed into the shredder machine and converted to 2-3 inch scrapes. Coin feeder mechanism will issue 1 rupee coin to the machine user. This is the complementary and encouragement to the people to give waste plastic water bottle to this machine and not to garbage or through on road.

This reverse vending machine can be the earning source for the poor people who are collects waste plastic bottles daily. And also lands will be free of plastic bottles.
